Dead Poets is, in my opinion, one of the best films (and my favorite) ever made. It's nota misrepresentation of a medium, rather a love note to it. I'll agree that what goes on in the classroom isn't exactly literary analysis or anything like that because the main focus of the film is not to make you fall in love with literature, it's to make.
